Among the 3,500 square meters of orchard that Zagara di Sicilia provides guests are different spaces, such as lawns and terraces, that "break" the rows of oranges and lemons. The lawns extend to 350 square meters and are enriched with typical Sicilian flora (carob, oleander, dwarf palms, geraniums, medlar, etc.). The terraces, obtained with tuff, spanning 250 square meters and are furnished with sofas and garden hammocks to offer moments of relaxation between the sounds "quiet" of the citrus. In the garden, planted in 1946, it is the typical varieties of Sicilian oranges: tarot, navel, dogwood and vanilla. In the grow are tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, zucchini, herbs, etc. Guests can pick up and eat, or even take home, all the citrus fruits and vegetables from the garden. (read reviews on booking.com) |
